...hiya nobs, no no alzheimers. just routine duties.

i haven't even seen the msm spin, so that doesn't surprise me. what a crock. yes you have it right. they have a fatal flaw, displayed clearly by this incident: they are completely tone deaf to normal human emotions. everything is always all about them. entirely self-referential. so who needs an apology in their mind? well *they* do, for being embarrassed over something they approve of 8:1. it's a mob mentality.

and as peres said, "we must *learn* not to make such mistakes."
do most people have to *learn* not to treat other people like second class citizens? no. but for born racists, it's a skill to keep up with -- hiding what you really feel. and basically, they can't, since it's such a widespread sickness, there's no ability to keep it in check.A. Never mind that, this story has been doing the rounds in the regular media and always with the same tilt. Ayalon's comments to the press crew ie. that they pay attention to the fact that the Turkish ambassador was sitting lower and that there was no Turkish flag, are all completely ignored.

The unspoken gist of the MSM story is that this was an unintended slight that the thin-skinned Turks over-reacted to with the oh-so magnanimous Israelis apologising in spite of the fact that really it was nothing much.

For mine, the insult is the least of the story. It's Ayalon's keenness to draw everyone's attention to it that's the big deal. He just couldn't help himself could he? And everyone piled in to tell him how well he'd done, did they? It seems that they couldn't help themselves neither. Hmm... I expect that this will be Israel's undoing - the irrestible desire to brag versus the need to keep the whole thing secret.nobodyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13067422372087431256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-481838326205496616.post-3032437754328797602010-01-14T14:05:01.637-05:002010-01-14T14:05:01.637-05:00it's my pesky family incoming, they keep insis...it's my pesky family incoming, they keep insisting i take care of them which interferes with my noticing things going on elsewhere in the world...A.
