It's not for nothing that they do these things

A few months back I stumbled across this site which explains the meaning of gold fringe and other decorations on American flags. Guess what? They don't belong on the flag except under special circumstances.
Martial Law Flag "Pursuant to 4 U.S.C. chapter 1, §§1, 2, & 3; Executive Order 10834, August 21, 1959; 24 F.R.6865; a military flag is a flag that resembles the regular flag of the United States, except that it has a YELLOW FRINGE border on three sides. The President of the United States designates this deviation from the regular flag, by executive order, and in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the military. The placing of a fringe on the national flag, the dimensions of the flag and the arrangement of the stars in the union are matters of detail not controlled by statute, but are within the discretion of the President as Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy." 34 Ops. Atty. Gen. 83.

President, Dwight David Eisenhower, by Executive Order No.10834, signed on August 21, 1959 and printed in the Federal Register at 24 F.R. 6865, pursuant to law, stated that: "A military flag is a flag that resembles the regular flag of the United States, except that it has a yellow fringe border on three sides."

You can go read it and judge for yourself. According to the Executive Order, these matters rest within the (tremendous and ever expanding) purview of the President as Commander in Chief. And we all know how much George has loved being Commander in Chief. I think he enjoys every single trapping of power, and he probably really gets his rocks off standing in front of fringed and tasseled flags with spread eagle finials, especially knowing that the meaning is lost on most people. Talk about getting away with bloody murder...

So, have we been under Martial Law for years, as many suspect? Has the evidence been in our faces this whole time? Would George Bush love that kind of brazen smackdown?

Dates and symbols and secret codes hold meaning to the underworld. While it may seem flaky and ridiculous to normal people who obviously have more important things to worry about, tuning it all out deprives us of important clues. Remember when Tommy Lee Jones picked up the tabloids in Men in Black to find out what was going on? There's some truth to that. We are dealing with whack-jobs.

So I have been intrigued to notice the flags since Obama's election.

On his third press conference (11/25/08), the flags sported no fringe or tassels. I don't know about the finials. At the recent appearance with Al Gore, the flags do have fringe but no tassels, and the display does not call attention to the fringe.

In contrast, the last picture was taken sometime before his election.

Hopefully what we're seeing is a transition back to a constitutional government, but we're not there yet. Nevertheless, it's always a good thing when they know that we know about their secret handshakes and dog whistles and all that kooky stuff. If they want to deny that the fringe means anything, well, fine. Take it off then. Either it means something or it doesn't. If it doesn't, remove it. What's the big deal?

You tell me.

As most power mad individuals enjoy wielding their clout over all.

It's like Kissinger said, power is the greatest aphrodisiac. Call it Viagra for dictators.

Which one, Kissinger or Bush?

And which one has killed more people? Not even sure about that one, probably need a calculator to figure out the death toll from those two bastards.

My dog's doing the St. Vitus dance, letting me know in his own way that it's time for the morning walk.

Gotta get him out in the woods so he can drop that toxic load out where it's downwind.

Both, though Kissinger is much more discreet than the assclown. I don't know who has more blood on his hands. Something to ponder in teh woods...

My vote would go to Junior for the overall death toll.

Yes, Kissinger has bloody hands from S. America, Vietnam. Cambodia and Laos and the ME, but it's Junior and his pet bitch, Blair, who entombed Iraq with DU that will slowly kill and keep killing, due to radioactivity, for centuries to come.

Kissinger might be ahead now, but Junior will outpace him in the long run.

I don't understand how those people sleep at nights, besides sleeping on silk sheets in one of their mansions.

Guess that's one of the benefits when your god is Mammon.

Yes, the DU is so horrible. You're probably right.

The best explanations for them I have found cross over into psychology and theology. The People of the Lie, M. Scott Peck; Political Ponerology, Andrew Lobaczewski. Beyond that you get into secret society stuff, which turns some people off (per our other thread about tactics). But it *does* explain the behavior. People just need to decide: do they want to really understand, or do they want to retain their comfortable world view.

And maybe it's just pure greed with a healthy dose of stupidity.
Just use pure lethal force to get what you want, be amoral and immoral, since there's no god except Mammon to these types... like you said, back to religion.

This past Summer, read the "Guns of August." A book about the origins of WWI.

That conflict could've been prevented, but egos and outright stupidity ruled the day.

Not to mention that there were more than a few royal heads of state in Europe related to the British Royal family and Queen Vicki who were acting out family feuds.

England's Royal Family. What's so "royal" about it?

It's the only family in England that can legally marry a relative.

As for secret societies, they've got more power than we'll probably ever know.

There's two books, one is called "Rule by Secrecy," by Jim Marrs that will leave you gasping for air.

And he's got a healthy bibliography to back it up.

The other is a trilogy, called the "The Illuminatus! Trilogy" by Robert Anton Wilson.

It's fictional, but he did enough research to make it seem so real.

At times, while reading the trilogy, I started to question my own sanity in between laughs.

Here's a blurb from Wiki about it:

The Illuminatus! Trilogy is a series of three novels written by Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson purportedly between 1969 and 1971[1], and first published in 1975. The trilogy is a satirical, postmodern, science fiction-influenced adventure story; a drug-, sex- and magic-laden trek through a number of conspiracy theories, both historical and imaginary, which hinge around the authors' version of the Illuminati. The narrative often switches between third and first person perspectives and jumps around in time. It is thematically dense, covering topics like counterculture, numerology and Discordianism.

The trilogy comprises the books The Eye in the Pyramid, The Golden Apple and Leviathan. They were first published starting in September 1975, as three separate volumes, and in 1984 as an omnibus; they are now more commonly reprinted in the latter form. The trilogy won the Prometheus Hall of Fame Award, designed to honor classic libertarian fiction, in 1986.[2] The authors went on to create several works, both fiction and nonfiction, that further discussed the themes of the trilogy, but no direct sequels were produced. Illuminatus! has been adapted for the stage, and has influenced several modern writers, musicians and games-makers. The popularity of the word "fnord" and the 23 enigma can both be attributed to the trilogy. It remains a seminal work of conspiracy fiction, predating Foucault's Pendulum and The Da Vinci Code by decades.

I don't know these books but am reading something along those lines right now. Non-fiction.

At this point I can just about climb right inside Obama's head, and know that he inherently dislikes clutter.

There is evidence he pays close attention to symbology. I can hear him saying, "Get that crap off the flag."

Re: Illuminati, Bilderbergs, Robert Anton Wilson, etc., the elite always need to hide power, because they need to insulate and hide wealth. All this think-tank gyration and ratiocinated shit has been over FDR's betrayal, putting a progressive income tax in and raping them on inheritance.

As for their feelings for the general populace, they say we live on "Barbarian Time." They set the clocks 5 minutes ahead, to "Skull and Bones Time." (I am not making that up.)

Really? That's a good one. I'm reading up on these freaks now. It kind of makes me want to renounce Phi Beta Kappa.

Uhh, if you sent it to the one with my blog, that one is no longer valid.

If it's the Yahoo one, it might of got thru.

Had to drop that ISP because it kept having DOS attacks. This about the same time I was geting threats to my physical well being on my blog.

Just a conincidence. of course.

I set my clocks ahead three minutes, does that make me eligible for Skull and Bones?

Not to sure I'd want to lay naked in a casket, whacking off in front of a bunch of guys, all the while telling them my most twisted sex fantasy.

I asked Marc P to send you my email through WUFYS. If you get that, send me a note.
