It wouldn't have to be air tight

Just to follow up a little on yesterday's dog whistles about radical terrorists with short money attacking US port cities, to be blamed on Pakistan, Cryptogon has some stories about radioactive things that go missing.

About ten days ago came the story of 15,800 missing Walmart signs. Who cares except that the signs use tritium, which boosts the efficiency and yield of nuclear weapons.

Why would “the terrorists” need to steal glow-in-the-dark signs to obtain tritium?

First of all, Tritium decays over time. I have no idea what the specifics are, but nuclear weapons will require periodic maintenance of their tritium component in order to function as intended. This is top secret nuclear weapons stuff. Maybe someone out there knows the details about this, but I don’t.

Second, tritium—that doesn’t occur naturally—is made in nuclear reactors and you can’t just go down to Walmart and get it. DOH! (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.)

Third, even assuming that “the terrorists” could obtain pure tritium gas, it’s expensive. Tritium costs about $100,000 per gram (Source: UCLA).

Forth, and most importantly, in the aftermath of any false flag attack involving a nuclear weapon, it will be important to eventually show video of brown skinned people stealing Exit signs from Walmart. The video will run in loops on every TV news show for months. This could be the new Boxcutter 2.0. “They used our Exit signs against us!” Etc.

The narrative might go something like this:

“The terrorists” bought an old nuclear weapon that happened to get loose from the arsenal of the former Soviet Union. “The terrorists,” operating from their caves in some desert wasteland, determined that the tritium on their particular blackmarket bomb, had decayed and would have to be replaced. (Damn Russians! Selling poorly maintained nuclear weapons that have been sitting around for so long that the tritium has decayed!) “The terrorists” looked at their old Soviet nuke, they looked at each other, they looked at their goats and thought, “How will we get more tritium so that our strike against the great Satan brings the most glory to God as possible?”

“Steal it from Walmart,” whispered the ghost on Bin Laden into the ears of “the terrorists.”

Now, if the tritium in the exit signs is going to wind up inside the physics package of a nuclear weapon, “the terrorists” would have to first recover the tritium from these exit signs, and then segregate the tritium from the helium isotopes that result from the natural decay of the tritium. What kind of facility and equipment would be required to to refine the tritium from these exit signs into tritium that’s pure enough for use in a nuclear weapon? I haven’t the slightest clue.

Not to worry, the general public would never think about these details, and so, for purposes of our story, it doesn’t matter. Remember, Boxcutter 2.0. The resulting “investigation” could pass off any bullshit as the official story, and who would question it besides people like you and me?

Yes. Exactly. Who but us aging mooks and midriffs, we rebels without a cause, would notice a thing amiss? Just as the magically falling buildings and disappearing jet airplane wreckage, the story doesn't have to be air tight. It just needs to hang together....roughly. As long as you have some hate-filled brown people, the rest is easy, at least for the short run.

But just in case some people somewhere are paying attention and asking questions like, "Hey, how did these hate-filled brown people refine the tritium in their caves? With goat milk? Hmmm. Something doesn't quite add up here....not sure what it is but....HEY! You guys are LYING to us, AREN'T YOU??!!"... there must be an alternative explanation. Perhaps something more scientifically possible.

Not to worry! These guys think of everything, and that's why they get paid the big bucks to terrorize us.

A number of institutions with licenses to hold nuclear material reported to the Energy Department in 2004 that the amount of material they held was less than agency records indicated. But rather than investigating the discrepancies, Energy officials wrote off significant quantities of nuclear material from the department’s inventory records.

That’s just one of the findings of a report released on Monday by Energy Department Inspector General Gregory Friedman that concluded “the department cannot properly account for and effectively manage its nuclear materials maintained by domestic licensees and may be unable to detect lost or stolen material.”

Auditors found that Energy could not accurately account for the quantities and locations of nuclear material at 15 out of 40, or 37 percent, of facilities reviewed. The materials written off included 20,580 grams of enriched uranium, 45 grams of plutonium, 5,001 kilograms of normal uranium and 189,139 kilograms of depleted uranium.

There (brushing hands together). NOW we're getting somewhere. Time to add the brown people.

If you go another couple stories down Cryptogon, you see that Walmart is back in the mix. This time they are somehow in bed with Diebold, the election rigging outfit that refuses to fix our electronic voting issues in an auditable way.

Via RawStory:

when calls were made to all of these [Diebold] offices, only one picked up the phone. And when the addresses of offices listed under Diebold in the White Pages were visited, the addresses turned out to belong to either a Wal-Mart, a Sam's Club, or no building at all. In the end, 16 of the 18 Diebold offices in Utah listed in the White Pages were false listings.

Better vote counts...always.

Olmert apologizes for Virgin Mary television spoof

By Barak Ravid, Haaretz Correspondent,

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Sunday said he feels regret, sorrow and disapproval for a comedy show that mocked Christian theology and offended the Vatican.

Government spokesman Mark Regev said Olmert told ministers at a cabinet meeting Sunday the comedy segment was in stark contrast to good relations between Israel and Christians worldwide.

Broadcast recently on a late-night show on the private Channel 10 TV station, the segment mocked the belief that Mary was a virgin and that Jesus walked on water.

The skit was a sarcastic response to the Vatican's rehabilitation of a Catholic bishop who denied the Holocaust took place. The host later apologized for causing offense.

The Vatican issued a statement Friday calling the segment a vulgar and offensive act of intolerance.

In the sketch, Mary is said to have become pregnant at 15, thanks to a schoolmate. It said Jesus could never have walked on water because he was so fat he was ashamed to leave the house, let alone go to the Sea of Galilee with a bathing suit.

The Chosen Ones know JC can't swim since he's currently in up to his neck in a shit pit.

I bet ol' Abe Fartman of the ADL is right now writing a stirring columnd denouncing this, right?

New U.S. Intel Chief: Support of Israel Not a U.S. Interest by David Lev 02/22/09

A flurry of reports over the weekend said that the former U.S. ambassador to Saudi Arabia, considered a sharp critic of Israel, is to be named to a top intelligence post in the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama.
Chas W. Freeman Jr., who was U.S. ambassador in Riyadh from 1989-1992, is set to be named chairman of the National Intelligence Council, which has a strong influence on the content of the intelligence briefings presented to the President (and puts together the National Intelligence Estimate, or NIE, which in 2007 dissuaded the Bush regime from attacking Iran). The Council chairman is also often called on to give direct briefings to the President.

Typical of Freeman's viewpoints is a statement he made in a speech before the Washington Institute of Foreign Affairs in 2007, in which he more or less blames international terrorist acts on Israel:

"American identification with Israeli policy has also become total. Those in the region and beyond it who detest Israeli behavior, which is to say almost everyone, now naturally extend their loathing to Americans. This has had the effect of universalizing anti-Americanism, legitimizing radical Islamism, and gaining Iran a foothold among Sunni as well as Shiite Arabs. For its part, Israel no longer even pretends to seek peace with the Palestinians; it strives instead to pacify them. Palestinian retaliation against this policy is as likely to be directed against Israel’s American backers as against Israel itself. Under the circumstances, such retaliation – whatever form it takes – will have the support or at least the sympathy of most people in the region and many outside it. This makes the long-term escalation of terrorism against the United States a certainty, not a matter of conjecture."

Freeman also is a strong advocate of talking to Hamas, which he says "is the only democratically-elected government in the Arab world." In his speech, Freeman said that "Hamas is showing that if we offer it nothing but unreasoning hostility and condemnation, it will only stiffen its position and seek allies among our enemies. In both cases, we forfeit our influence for no gain."

Christ, what in the hell is Obama thinking?

Doesn't he know he's supposed to run these appointments past the ADL and get their approval?

Appointing someone who is rational and can see both sides of the ME story?

I imagine the AIAPC Borg collective is a frenzy of activity, trying to find ways to derail Freeman.

If it was some foaming at the mouth Zionist like Bolton or Martin Indyk, Israel's vast MSM propaganda machine would be praising Obama for making an astute and educated pick.

If Obama keeps up this "anti-Semitic" attitude, he'll join his hero, JFK, in Arlington.

From the sublime to the ridiculous:

Leading U.S. rabbi welcomed Obama, now stands accused of idolatry

Rabbi Haskel Lookstein of Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun in New York would never have made the mistake of wearing a cross, certainly not in shul. But he nevertheless is in hot water for a similar "Christian" offense to Orthodox sensibilities: He attended a joint interfaith prayer service commemorating President Barack Obama's inauguration, contravening the rules of the Rabbinical Council of America, of which he is a member. And what's worse, he did it in a church.

It is not yet clear whether the RCA will discipline Lookstein for his actions, but the statement put out by the organization - "Any member of the RCA who attends such a service does so in contravention of this policy and should not be perceived as representing the organization in any capacity" - does seem a bit ominous.

There are two issues at stake here. One is the participation in interfaith services, which most Orthodox rabbis believe is wrong since it could legitimize Christian missionaries' argument that Jews can embrace Jesus. I'll leave that one to the theologians. The other issue is the lingering feeling of suspicion and historical fear that many Jews still feel toward Christian symbols, and the concern that by entering a church and appreciating the architecture, the music and the service..

Some more of that "beauty of the Jewish soul" being revealed.

If the Pentagon fantasy of a 70 year long war against the Muslims comes true, whoever is left standing will be to weak to fight off the Zionist hordes.
