Makes you wonder...some obscure Canadian professor and the Kazakh president doing a mini-circle jerk over their little Illuminati creation. WTF? But hey, there's a Nobel Prize involved here, so it must be good right? No wonder Mordechai Vanunu, a beautiful man with a fully functioning conscience, told them to take his name off their silly prize list.KAZAKH President Nursultan Nazarbayev has won backing for his plan for a single world currency from an intellectual architect of the euro currency, Nobel-prize winner Professor Robert Mundell.
...And he received intellectual support from the Canadian economist Prof Mundell, who helped lay the intellectual groundwork for Europe's single currency.
"I must say that I agree with President Nazarbayev on his statement and many of the things he said in his plan, the project he made for the world currency, and I believe I'm right on track with what he's saying,'' Prof Mundell said, adding the idea held "great promise''.
Mr Nazarbayev and Prof Mundell urged the Group of 20 leading developed and developing economies to form a working group on the proposal at their summit on the global economic crisis in London on April 2.
...Mr Nazarbayev's coining of "acmetal'' combines the Greek word "acme,'' meaning peak or best, and "capital.''
Meanwhile, Obama is "highly optomistic" about the economy, as he kisses the asses of the asses who have greedily raked us over the coals.
A third strong day on Wall Street bolstered President Obama's remarks on his confidence in the economy as he addressed members of the Business Roundtable on Thursday afternoon. Media coverage of the President's comments, which included reports in two network newscasts, noted the President's "optimistic" message. On NBC Nightly News, Savannah Guthrie reported the President is "looking to engage the business community, who, let's face it, is a little bit skeptical of some of his proposals, particularly on tax increases, his plans to cap carbon emissions."Uh huh. Sure. Three days of PPT action and we're in a "strong bear market rally," and the very next thing on tap is to take care of corporate America and it's investors, because those are the people who count in this country. Like why don't we lower their taxes already? They deserve a break for all they do for us.
...The Wall Street Journal reports Obama, "in his most aggressive outreach yet to the business community," said he is "ready to talk about lowering corporate income-tax rates and could compromise on his plan to combat global warming."The AP reports, "Investors have been clamoring for months for a bit of good news. On Thursday, they got a load of it." The Dow Jones Industrial Average "rose 239.66, or 3.5 percent, to 7,170.06," while the S&P 500 "climbed 29.38, or 4.1 percent, to 750.74," and the Nasdaq "gained 54.46, or 4 percent, to 1,426.10." ABC World News reported on the "strong bear market rally." There is "a feeling among investors that maybe at least things have at least stopped getting worse."
And by the way, Iran threatens Israel's existence.
That's some good shit.

First to go will be the nickel. People love coins and would hate to see coins removed from the currency. However, most people hate the nickel. It's an ugly coin, really, and too big of a coin to justify it's worth.
Ever pull a nickel out of your pocket and think it's a quarter? When you realize it's a mere five cents, and not five times that amount, you despise the little fucker.
Pennies are exciting, especially when you get a wheat back or war penny. Quarters are beautiful because you can play pinball and slots with it. Dimes are simply cute as a button.
But the nickel? Yuck. Let's give it up already. Once we give up the nickel, it will be easier for them to introduce other changes down the road.
When you hear of the demise of the nickel, you know the show is beginning. This has all been preplanned for us already, but we are not to know of it yet because we don't yet desire the change. But I'm the one who always snuck in my parents closet to sneak a peak at the wrapped Christmas presents. I've just gotta know what's in that box for me!
I don't think the printing presses will run for this new currency. It will be a debit card or a chip. I don't know. Perhaps I'm just letting my imagination run away with this idea. Afterall, the banking system would have to be nationalized for such a thing to take place. That would never happen in a million years. Our banking system is sound and capitalism is thriving, right? Am I right? Huh?
Plus, if we were to get Mexico on board with us, they would need to be in a desperate situation. Things are just fine south of the border - no chaos or riots or unemployment or drug wars, last time I checked, anyway.
Oh, gotta go. TV repairman just arrived. Finally....been waiting all year!
What's that? Only thin air?
"Yes, Massa, we be needin' that new money to take da place of dat ol' money, which has got to funny."
When you bring in those US dollars you've stashed away for a rainy day to exchange for the new Goldman Offical D notes--GOD notes for short-- be sure to bring in any gold jewelry and precious stones to help exchange the worthless fed notes for the new GOD.
And those firearms you're holding onto?
Bring those in to, since in this Order of the New World forbids private gun ownership.
You can keep the guns if you want, those of you still old enough to remember an archaic document known as the Bill of Rights, but you won't be able to particpate in the new economy w/o the new GOD!!
Israel's religious leaders asked Pope Benedict on Thursday to make Holocaust studies a required subject in Catholic schools, saying it could help combat anti-Semitism in future generations.
The two sides resumed a dialogue that was interrupted by the case of a Holocaust-denying bishop, which brought Catholic-Jewish relations to their lowest point in half a century.
The Israelis also asked that the Vatican take a strong stand against the draft final declaration of next month's U.N. conference on racism, a statement some countries view as hostile to Israel.
"May we suggest for your consideration that the history and the moral import of the Shoah ... become a required subject for inclusion in the curriculum of students at all Catholic schools the world over," Rabbi Shear Yashuv Cohen asked the pope during a meeting at the Vatican, using the Hebrew word for Holocaust.
Cohen, who is chief rabbi of Haifa, said such a move would "reinforce your strong stand against Holocaust denial and declaring anti-Semitism as a sin against God."
Rabbi David Rosen, International Director of Interreligious Affairs for the American Jewish Congress, told reporters afterwards: "I hope a recommendation (from the pope on Holocaust studies in Catholic schools) will come out of this latest crisis. That will be a silver lining to the cloud."

Maybe they could also start teaching the Talmud in Catholic schools.
And start saying part of the Mass in Yiddish.
"There's no business like SHOAH™ business!"
Yes, why don't we all learn about the Talmud first, I think that is a splendid idea. Let's learn what the Talmud teaches about our Lord Jesus Christ, and all the nice tolerant things it says about we stupid goyim, who deserve to be cheated lied to stolen from murdered killed without cause at the absolute whim of the 'chosen people.' You know those books have been translated out of Hebrew, so let's have a real fucking education about Judaism's "Holy Books." And when that's all squared away and all these disturbing matters have been explained to our satisfaction by the rabbis, with profuse apologies of course and perhaps some reparations for harm done, then we can talk about the rest of the curriculum. I mean, it's just so disappointing to find out what they *really* think, but then again, it explains a lot, doesn't it.
Priorities, priorities.
Schools could contact a SINagogue who would lend a rabid Rabbi to teach the Holocaust™ teachings.
Why not add another commandment to the original 10, since they are so passé.
"Thou Shalt Not Question the Holocaust™"
Forgive me Father, for I have sinned in asking questions about the Holocaust™.
Your penance, my child, is to donate $1,000.00 dollars to the Church's Holocaust™ fund!
This position is corroborated by Dr. Johannes B. Koeppl, Ph.D. a former German defense ministry official and advisor to former NATO Secretary General Manfred Werner. On November 6, he told FTW, “The interests behind the Bush Administration, such as the CFR, The Trilateral Commission – founded by Brzezinski for David Rockefeller – and the Bliderberger Group, have prepared for and are now moving to implement open world dictatorship within the next five years. They are not fighting against terrorists. They are fighting against citizens.”
“This is more than a war against terrorism. This is a war against the citizens of all countries. The current elites are creating so much fear that people don’t know how to respond. But they must remember. This is a move to implement a world dictatorship within the next five years. There may not be another chance.”

Thanks for stopping in at my place and commenting.
The market is seeing a bear rally, but it is not strong, and definately not sustainable. I prophesize the Dow to dip to 5,000 or lower before bottoming out.
I have to laugh when I hear the anti-semitic balderdash spewed by the Zionists, as they continue to execute genocide on the Palestinians. It's nothing but drivel and twaddle.
And incidently, Iran threatening Istael's existence comes from the Neocon/Zionist Translator's Book of Lies. What the Iranians have repeatedy said is: They want to eliminate the Zionist Regime, not the State of Israel. Can't say I disagree with that.
Peace and Grace
It was my pleasure to visit your blog. Heard about it from a friend, and thanks for coming by here. I will be back, as it looks like we're pretty much on the same page. I am always happy to find my fellow travelers and get the synergy going in the right direction.
