I'm sorry this isn't related to the post, but I didn't know where to put it. I'm just wondering if anyone else has encountered this recently. For about an hour tonight, almost every "alternative" site (including this one) I tried to visit went straight to this: (while ALL the "household name" sites I checked were fine)

I'm not really sure what if anything it signifies, but it was too much of a conicidence not to be suspicious. I was hoping we'd have at least four or five more years with access to whatever truth we seek, but creepily, the second sentence really says "we aren't going to let you view these sites for your own good". Obviously it's un-blocked now, but it really gave me one of those "holy crap" moments.
Now that I think about your OP, since Naval sonar has probably been beaching dolphins and whales for decades, in a perfect world, they have discovered how to return the favor.
Interesting. I did get an error trying to sign onto blogger, a 404 error. It cleared after a short while. At a minimum it looks like they want to taint the perceived safety of certain sites so people will avoid them. But yes, it could be much worse than that.
Here's my message to them:
YOU FUCKERS. GET A REAL JOB!!!!
I suspect these safety features are being concocted in the land formerly known as Palestine with a US government grant. A nobel prize is probably in the works for their efforts.
