"Making vaccine the keystone of any effort to prevent illness and save lives"

Maybe Janet should go have a gypsy read the tarot cards so she can give us even better predictions. Like for instance, what are they going to do to us when we start refusing the vaccine? That would be useful to know from the Department of Homeland Security.
U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano asserted Tuesday that pandemic flu is likely to flare up soon after schools open in the fall, well before any vaccine is available.
How on *earth* does she know this????
Napolitano also acknowledged that there would not be enough pandemic flu vaccine for everyone, at least in the early stages of the flu season. "There will be prioritization of vaccinations," she told members of the USA TODAY editorial board.

The flu strain causing the pandemic, a new strain of H1N1 flu that is also known as swine flu, is especially dangerous because it is genetically different from virtually every other known flu virus. As a result, most people are defenseless against it — making vaccine the keystone of any effort to prevent illness and save lives.

OK it doesn't get much more obvious than this. Ahem. The vaccine is genetically different from virtually every other known flu virus because IT WAS MADE THAT WAY ON PURPOSE IN A LABORATORY. (Oops! Steve Sternberg somehow forgot to mention that in his story for USA Today. Maybe he doesn't read on the internet and never heard about Baxter and Jane Burgermeister's lawsuit, but I'm sure he's a great reporter because he has a job with a big newspaper.) Anyway... As A Result of the vaccine being genetically different from virtually every other known flu virus, (WINK WINK WINK), vaccines are KEY! to saving lives. That was the Whole Point!!!!
Napolitano said the flu epidemic is likely to be severe, but not as severe as the 1918 pandemic, the world's worst. In 1918, flu killed at least 675,000 people in the USA and up to 50 million worldwide. She said it's more likely that the pandemic would mirror 1957, when flu killed about 70,000 people in the USA and more than one million people worldwide, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That's about twice the death toll of seasonal flu, which annually kills about 36,000 people and results in 200,000 hospitalizations.
Again, how on *earth* do they know this????

Napolitano's statement that flu vaccine will be provided first to certain high risk groups indicates that the Obama administration accepts the consensus now established among public health experts inside of government and elsewhere.

Last week, a panel of experts advised the CDC that the first vaccinations should go to pregnant women; parents and contacts of children younger than six months; health care workers; all children and young adults and all non-elderly adults with chronic medical conditions.

The government has ordered 195 million doses of swine flu vaccine from five manufacturers, along with immune boosters called adjuvants that may be needed to ramp up the vaccine's potency. So far, the federal government has spent about $1 billion on pandemic flu vaccine, with an additional $350 million disbursed to states, territories and hospitals for more vaccine purchases and to build surge capacity in emergency rooms and intensive care units.
Oh, it all sounds so reasonable, doesn't it? That's exactly the point. That's why it's psyops.

I emailed a couple of questions to the MO Dept of Health about what would happen if the swine flu vaccination became mandatory and what would happen if someone refused?

Here's their reply---I like the bold highlighted warning in the last portion of the email.

There have not been any discussions on mandatory vaccinations with H1N1 vaccine. If you have further questions please call me at:
573-526-4231 or bryan.norman@dhss.mo.gov Thank you for asking your question. For information on H1N1 please visit our website http://www.dhss.mo.gov/BT_Response/_H1N1Flu

Something's afoot. Maybe just more scare tactics, maybe they're planning on thinning the herd and get rid of some pesky bloggers.

And what is it with people being born before 1957 being resistant to this strain?

Isn't that about the time American kids were getting polio vaccinations?

P.S. NIce pic, didn't know you owned a horse.

hadn't heard about people born before 1957 being resistant, do you have a link?

The CDC has been reporting the born before 1957 resistance.

from here:

"And there's evidence that people born before 1957 -- when an ancestor of the swine flu bug was in seasonal circulation -- might have some degree of protection against swine flu."

yeah right.

If someone tries to force that vaccination on you, have them read and sign this form:

This form would make any doctor choke.

hey that's a great form, love it.

yup, the article citing the 1957 thing is total fear-mongering to puff up the *complications* stemming from *underlying conditions* that some people have to make the so-called swine flu seem worse than it is. they got nothing but fear-mongering and poison vaccines.

Maybe this Swine Flu thing will be used to have a bank holiday like FDR declared back in 1933 or 34, but instead of being upfront about it, we'll all be told that the Swine Flu has reached epidemic proportions and ALL need to stay at home for 3-5 days for safety's sake to keep the flu from spreading.

At the end of that time, some banks will re-open, some won't.

Maybe, since the Fed is still lying about the economy sliding off a cliff and the Treasury is aiding and abetting them and the FDIC is just about out of bank bailout money.

The Obama administration is quietly dusting off an effort to impose new federal quarantine regulations, which were vigorously resisted by civil liberties organizations and the airline industry when the rules were first proposed by the Bush administration nearly four years ago.

White House officials aren’t saying what their rules might ultimately require. But the previous administration proposed giving the federal government the authority to order a “provisional quarantine” of three business days — or up to six calendar days — for those suspected of having swine flu or other illnesses listed in a presidential executive order.
