Nice song.

Around here the rainbows are really highlighted with that oil sheen. Even the frigging moon at night shows brown clouds floating by with a "rainbow."

A poignant sentiment A.P.

I had not heard of Eva but she is quite a songstress

yes. sadly for us she went over the rainbow, too.

dubs, i'm so sorry about the Gulf. the ocean is a beautiful thing, and it is truly unspeakable what has happened.

Yeppers summers almost shot and soon my ass will be frozen solid but it's been a blast this time around. Nothing but sailing for two whole months with nothing better to do than get a great tan and eat and drink, but only too excess yuh understand. But as is said all good things must come to an end and with school starting for the kid in a week it's just about time to pack up and head home for the winter and do that which bloggers do, and it will be kinda nice to type on a keyboard bigger than a flattened beer can.

Keep up the good work P and hang loose.

A month or so ago Judy Collins was on NPR and they played several versions of this song. They mentioned Eva but i didn't know of her. Now I do. thanks

Last fall 3 of us were on a ridge right after a storm with the sun behind us and actually saw the end of a rainbow about 200 ft. down in the valley. We sat and watched for several minutes until it faded away. No camera but a great memory.

she's new to me too, and i was blown away.

very cool to see the end of the rainbow! i've never seen that. this pic i took about a month ago in east falmouth. it was just before dusk, and we really appreciated that its reflection lined up with our path.

This is unbelievable here. I strongly recommend taking a look.

http://www.examiner.com/human-rights-in-national/extremist-stalking-cells-america

Hundreds of thousands of Americans could be suffering direct effects of a well-hidden form of terrorism sweeping America involving interconnected extremist cells keeping targets under covert surveillance and assaulting them with psychological warfare tactics and military grade directed energy weapons' (DEWs) invisible ammunition. New FOI documents reveal that the number of Americans targeted by such cells in the campaign of terror could exceed 350,000.

The state-sponsored terror program is a likely arm of the Bush/Obama 'locate and assassinate' New Phoenix Program in the petrochemical-military-industrial-complex (PMIC) 'war on terror' in which anyone not "with" government lies and deceit is a "terrorist." In other words, the program is genocide of good, honest people. (See: Dupe, D. Let's kill all the good people, August 29, 2010) This atrocity could be another WikiLeaks' Modified Limited Hangout distraction from an even greater crime: Collateral Damage U.S.A.

Hey Dublin Mick,
Thank you so much for that link to DEW abuse. I posted it on my blog because I think is is a crucial story.
I could go on and on about my personal experiences with DEW and other high tech weapons but not here or now. Sometime soon though when I can present the whole sordid story concisely. I also have a video on my blog that I got from the Rense sight this last weekend. The two seem to match well. There has been a real dearth(sp?) of writing about DEW on the alternative web sites that has made me very disheartened. Perhaps we will witness a turnaround. Again, great heads up Mick. I can call you mick because I am a mick too. :P

AP I put a pic up on my blog, take a look and I can assure you that it is not retouched in any way. I saw it from my office window after a massive rain and went out to the deck and snapped the pic. It lasted for about four minutes.
