the skunk at our little American garden party

UPDATES at the end.

Let's apply some logic to the Loughner narrative. This whole thing has turned into a real circus DIVIDING people on the left and the right. Nobody wants to own this guy. Not the left. Not the right. No religion. Supposedly not even the military wanted him.

Meanwhile, his parents remain barricaded in their home. We wonder why are they allowed to remain in the home, along with the potential evidence in the home, as the FBI conducts an investigation. Reportedly, on the day of the shooting, "a mumbling Jared Loughner ran into the desert near his home after his father asked him why he was removing a black bag from the trunk of a family car, sheriff's officials said." Why don't the authorities relocate the parents while they conduct their investigation? (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/01/11/jared-loughner-parents_n_807479.html)

Reportedly, Loughner was known to the authorities.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department and Pima Community College have declined to release documents that could shed light on run-ins they had with 22-year-old Jared Loughner in the months prior to the shooting.
...Pima Community College officials confirmed Saturday that they suspended Loughner after a series of outbursts in classrooms and the library, five of which involved campus police. ...The Republic also requested the names of the people wounded in Saturday's shooting. The Sheriff's Department has not released any names, although names of several victims have emerged in media reports. The Sheriff's Department did not provide a reason for withholding the list.

Yesterday police released some information about their contacts with Loughner.

"In 2008, Loughner reported being a victim of identity theft on Oct. 3 after Googling his name and finding an online profile on PeekYou.com that included a picture of himself and other details that were inaccurate, according to the report. He did not suffer any financial loss from the incident and told police an old school friend named Alex probably created the fake MySpace account." (http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/01/12/pima-county-sheriffs-department-releases-loughner-records/)

Inaccurate details on the fake MySpace account then? How convenient is that? We think it might be exceedingly convenient.

In one comment thread we saw an astute observation: Loughner's mugshot bears an uncanny resemblance to Woody Harrelson's character in the movie Natural Born Killers.
Loughner looking batshit insane with shaved head and eyebrows.
Why did he shave off all his hair?

Did you know that a Chabadnik from Brooklyn, NY recently sued the US Army for refusing to let him serve as a chaplain because the Army insists he shave his beard, which is against his religion?
The man claims discrimination.
Congresspeople Chuck Schumer, Kirstin Gillibrand, and Joe Lieberman intervened.
Fun facts.

Woody Harrelson in Natural Born Killers
(http://www.craigerscinemacorner.com/Reviews/natural_born_killers.htm)

"NATURAL BORN KILLERS is about the media’s ever-growing coverage of the crimescape that pummels our daily lives and establish vile and deplorable people that commit random acts of brutal violence in the same reverence as pop stars. The film never panders to its audience; it makes them think constructively and critically at its subject. It screams out, “Ok, you see the obvious physical violence in the piece, but what’s the tertiary levels of the film? What else is it about?” "

"I think the reason he did it was mainly to just promote chaos. He wanted the media to freak out about this whole thing. He wanted exactly what's happening. He wants all of that." ~ Bryce Tierney

We also note that Loughner spoke about "conscience dreaming," similar to the concept of the movie Inception, a 2010 movie about a corporate espionage thief who steals information from the unconscious minds of his targets while they sleep and dream. We mentioned the movie Inception in December 2010.

See: the dream is a nightmare and its time to wake up.

^^^^^^^

So, the question has arisen: Is Jared Lee Loughner Jewish?

Well, first we must ask: Should it matter?

According to the narrative as it was shaping up, it *did* matter that Loughner was presumably *not* Jewish, because several -- but not all -- of his victims *are* Jewish, in particular Gabby Giffords, the first Jewish congressperson from Arizona. Which has been pointed out.

It also makes sense to assume Loughner is not Jewish because Jews comprise a tiny minority of the US population: about 2.5%. So what are the odds? Of course, many people don't realize how tiny the Jewish minority is in the US because Jews are so over-represented in the media, in Hollywood, and in politics, that one might conclude they comprise about half the US population, which is a misconception; or that they are intrinsically more talented than non-Jews, a racist idea if there ever was one, and therefore they got all these jobs due to merit.

Nonetheless, the presumed fact set lent support to the narrative that this was some sort of anti-semitic right-wing hate crime. The evidence that Loughner had a history of anti-semitism or a right wing political leanings could not be found, but that did not stop the hinting around.

For example, a DHS memo to law enforcement obtained by Fox News mentioned American Renaissance, described by DHS as an extremist anti-immigrant group, as possibly connected to Loughner. According to DHS, "The group's ideology is anti-government, anti-immigration, anti-ZOG (Zionist Occupational Government), anti-Semitic." (http://politics.blogs.foxnews.com/2011/01/09/dhs-memo-suggests-shooter-may-be-linked-racist-organization)

Which matters because, reportedly, again, Giffords is Jewish. The implication was that Loughner committed a hate crime. Giffords was raised by a Christian Scientist mother and Jewish father, and only decided she was Jewish after visiting Israel in 2001 with the American Jewish Committee. In fact she changed parties from Republican to Democrat, entered politics, and started practicing Judaism all around the same time in 2001. She started attending a local Reform synagogue and became an ardent supporter of Israel. (http://www.jewishexponent.com/article/22654/)

Reportedly, this is the same synagogue that Loughner's family belongs to, Congregation Chaverim. However, the allegation that the Loughners belong to this synagogue is hotly denied. The rabbi of the synagogue, Stephanie Aaron, "debunks" the rumor by stating that, "We have never had any contact with the Loughner family. They are not members of the congregation and never have been members of the congregation. And I've been with the congregation for 40 years, since it's inception, since I was very young." (http://www.opednews.com/articles/Exclusive-Giffords-Rabbi-by-Rob-Kall-110112-823.html)

Why do we have to take one person's word for it? Aren't there any other people who can confirm or deny this important detail?

It seems to be exceedingly important to the Jewish community to establish that Loughner is *not* Jewish.

It also seems very important to the Jewish community to establish that Giffords *is* Jewish.

Giffords said while campaigning for congress in 2006: “If you want something done, your best bet is to ask a Jewish woman to do it. Jewish women -- by our tradition and by the way we were raised -- have an ability to cut through all the reasons why something should, shouldn’t or can’t be done, and pull people together to be successful.” Seems a bit of a stretch given her background. But perhaps the identity politics helped her campaign. (http://content.usatoday.com/topics/quote/Gabrielle+Giffords/00yDd6KecD3ZO/0byZ3KGbbieXd/1)

We tend to think Loughner *is* Jewish, which would explain the rapid response to "debunk" the very suggestion.

Because if Loughner is Jewish, the narrative would be: A Jew commits a heinous crime, targets another Jew, and the media gets it wrong and makes it into an anti-semitic hate crime instead.

Oopsie! That is not a good narrative. That can't be. Either he can't be Jewish, or he was not targeting Giffords because she is Jewish, or the media can't be blaming his hatred on someone else, or, ideally, all (none) of the above.

And in fact, the JTA quickly researched Loughner's family tree. Turns out he's only a little Jewish, maybe. (http://revisionistreview.blogspot.com/2011/01/judaic-or-not-judaic-jared-lee-loughner.html)

The ADL, reasonable as ever, quickly walked back the suggestion that Loughner targeted Giffords because of her faith. (http://www.haaretz.com/jewish-world/adl-analysis-claims-suspected-arizona-shooter-not-anti-semitic-1.336622)

And DHS walked back the suggestion that Loughner is connected to the American Renaissance. (http://voices.washingtonpost.com/plum-line/2011/01/dhs_has_not_determined_possibl.html?wprss=plum-line)

All within a matter of days.

If we were suspicious, we would suspect that the flashy narrative tour bus was zipping along at 90mph in the high speed lane when suddenly, without warning, it blew a tire, nearly lost control, and had to go thwap-thwap-thwapping its way across two lanes of traffic and into the breakdown lane...

Jesus God that was close.

Where did this idea that Loughner is Jewish even come from?

According to Mother Jones, one of Loughner's old friends, Bryce Tierney, says Loughner is Jewish.

At 2:00 a.m. on Saturday—about eight hours before he allegedly killed six people and wounded 14, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.), in Tucson—Jared Lee Loughner phoned an old and close friend with whom he had gone to high school and college. The friend, Bryce Tierney, was up late watching TV, but he didn't answer the call. When he later checked his voice mail, he heard a simple message from Loughner: "Hey man, it's Jared. Me and you had good times. Peace out. Later."
That was it. But later in the day, when Tierney first heard about the Tucson massacre, he had a sickening feeling: "They hadn't released the name, but I said, 'Holy shit, I think it's Jared that did it.'"

Tierney tells Mother Jones in an exclusive interview that Loughner held a years-long grudge against Giffords and had repeatedly derided her as a "fake."

A "fake" what?

Loughner's animus toward Giffords intensified after he attended one of her campaign events and she did not, in his view, sufficiently answer a question he had posed, Tierney says.

Animus intensified AFTER he attended a campaign event. Animus was already present.

He also describes Loughner as being obsessed with "lucid dreaming"—that is, the idea that conscious dreams are an alternative reality that a person can inhabit and control—and says Loughner became "more interested in this world than our reality." Tierney adds, "I saw his dream journal once. That's the golden piece of evidence. You want to know what goes on in Jared Loughner's mind, there's a dream journal that will tell you everything."

We think there are many unanswered questions about this incident.

Where is the journal? What does it say?
Why does Loughner talk about mind control so much? What does he know about mind control?
Does he have any contacts with the military?
Why is there no other video coverage, like cell phone videos, security cameras, etc?
How did he manage to get off all those shots?

"You cannot shoot 20 people, 6 killshots in 20 seconds with a Glock 9. I have unloaded the clip on that gun 100 times, if you pull the trigger in rapid succession with a 30 round clip in the grip, the gun is going to be balanced to the back, thus it will have a stronger upward kick. The crime scene is missing 30 marked out shell casings and puddles of blood."  via Goon Squad
Why did help take so long to arrive at the scene?

"This is an image provided by the Pima's Sheriff Department which shows someone they believe is an associate of the suspect in the Tucson shooting which left six dead."

UPDATE: aferrismoon relates the following:

Some time after posting the 'Taxi Driver' observation
I read further comments at TWILIGHT LANGUAGE this was writ by ANONYMOUS:

'It should be noted that the older man originally suspected of being Loughner's accomplice has been identified as a taxi driver who had the misfortune of driving Loughner to the event. He has been cleared of any involvement.'

That does not mean that Loughner acted alone. It does not mean he didn't have a handler. It just means that one question has, presumably, been answered. By ANONYMOUS. Or maybe not.
See comments.

UPDATE: Black bag may have been found, but the man who found it remains at large. Come on.

So the story goes, a young man walking his dog stumbled across the bag in a wash near the Loughner home. He drops it in an alleyway and tells a resident. ??? The police now have the bag. They think it is the bag. It contained boxes of ammunition and other unspecified items. But they don't know the identity of the young man who found the bag. Really? Well, where was the FBI? Aren't they supposed to be conducting an investigation? At the home? Around the home? In the area around the home? Looking for evidence? So they never saw this man, described as 18-20, walking his dog in the desert behind the home?

Once again, awfully spooky.

thank you for reading.

Here's something from Portland Indymedia about Loughner (who I thought looked more like a cross between Freddy Krueger and Jason from Friday the 13th, myself ... someone also pointed out he looks a lot like Giffords' husband, too ...): http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2011/01/405252.shtml

thank you for that link Jody. very interesting details about the cabbie.

He also originally showed up at the supermarket with a second person, who drove him there. The FBI just "cleared" him yesterday, claiming he was just a cabdriver who drove him there from "a short distance away". He was caught on store video following the shooter in, "to get the cabfare" from Loughner, who needed change. Odd thing is, no one ever reported Loughner showing up in a taxi. But someone saw him get out of a vehicle-that was reported immediately after the event. Having the FBI say it as no big deal is SOP n this type of operation. Case closed.

lots of odd behavior.

Plus, like I mentioned on a couple other blogs, why would Loughner need change if he was fully expecting to die? Its just like the so called 7-7 London Tube bombers who got round trip tickets. Makes no sense that Loughner would want his $6 change on from a $20 bill on a $14 cab ride. No tip? What's $6 going to do for him if he was expecting to be shot and killed that day?

My first thought on the person of interest who became the cabbie was that it was not only muddying the waters but it was putting forth the idea that the police were open to others involved, a conspiracy, then knock that down and go back to the 'lone nut.' They always need to be able to use that "first reports are often wrong" at some point in the future.

A. Peasant said...

so true about the change Mondo.

Kenny, yes agreed. similar is the MySpace page, which has been taken down as i understand. supposedly he marked his religion as jewish on the page. this can come under question since the police now say he filed an identity theft charge back in 2008. it's just enough to cast doubt, to create some wiggle room.

not to mention that people will spend a lot of time running this stuff down.

The shooter at Ft. Hood was immediately fingered as Moslem and if u asked anybody today I reckon they would remember is Moslem status [ if they remembered his status]. The uS media is obsessed with roots and supposed alliances.

Unfortunately for the MSM and the ADL they jumped for 'good jewishness' without actually checking out the whole situation. Its interesting, therefore, to see they're damage control practices. :)

Now when pressed they'll play a 'whadduzitmatter, jeez , u hate joos or sumtin.'

Woody Harrelson's father was a suspect for the killing of JFK and finally got sent down for killing US District Judge 'Maximum' John Wood jr., which ties in with Loughner killing a Judge.

Concerning the 9/11 link via Christina Green, the judge's name is ROLL , which reminded me of Todd Beamer's 'Let it Roll' on UA93.

Beamer worked for Oracle and the Safeway in Tucson is on North Oracle Rd [ Route 77]

Who knows maybe they built on an old Hopi site - Kachina Hills not too far away.

Should take people's minds off the renovations in East Jerusalem.

Cheers

great connections ferris. you are the Master of Arcana!

and i agree that it *can't matter* now if it turns out that loughner is jewish. it's racist to notice that sort of thing.

i saw a very interesting piece yesterday that suggests the whole thing was really about whacking the judge. but then i realized it is from that spook at whatdoesitmean.

http://www.thetotalcollapse.com/top-us-federal-judge-assassinated-after-threat-to-obama-agenda/

which bits are true and which are false?

there is also this connection between the southern poverty law center and the judge:

Poverty Law Center (SPLC) report, December, 2006: “An Arizona jury, acting in a lawsuit sponsored by the Southern Poverty Law Center, ordered border vigilante Roger Barnett to pay $98,750 to a family of Mexican-Americans he terrorized in 2004.” (The SPLC is well-known for their open borders position and bigoted and vicious attacks on those who propose to curtail illegal immigration.)

found here:
http://bellalu0.wordpress.com/2011/01/11/jared-loughners-mother-and-giffords-attended-same-synagogue-or-did-they/

i also thought i saw some possible connections between splc and the renaissance group that DHS trotted out as being a ZOG etc. as in they are on the same team. but i'd have to go track that back down later if possible.

FWIW I believe that Jared obsessed over mind control as a result of his inability to contain his madness, much in the same way that rabid christianist preachers obsess over homosexuality because they can't stop craving throbbing cocks. His published bloggery is sad and annoyingly pointless.

From what I read, the army dropped him due to a failed drug test and the college dropped him because he constantly interrupted his classes for off topic outbursts that left his audiences confused and fearful of future violence. Their separation letter required passing a phychiatric exam before he could resume classes. His parents were not helping him and they were considered raving loons by the neighbors as well.

All that said AP, you ask some great questions that uncover tampering with the public perception. Thank you for that.

aferrismoon touches on a great thought experiment for all the caring citizens of America:

How would you view this incident if Jared was a muslim? How would the narrative of your intrepid media have tweaked your insecurities?

aferrismoon said...

Its interesting to see how the various social groups are used by the manipulators.

I really don't see 'jewishness' helping Loughner or his family, and it certainly didn't help Mrs Gifford. And notably neither of those two [ or families] have brought it up. The agencies have though, and they ain't in the firing line, they just stir the shit and wait for the next tragedy to feed off.

The agencies imply demonisation/beatification techniques to promote their agendas which seems , often, like magical rituals though without the classic attendant paraphernalia [ if it were ever needed].

And of course there's the bloooooood! Spilt blood makes people mad and thus even more easily influenced.

Mal - experiment. With these national and international news events I often wonder if they're not based on Dr. Ewan Cameron's 'psychic driving', though more diluted as it works through the media rather than 1 on 1 with a doctor.

cheers

Sure. Some folks are more susceptible than others, like the masses of people on anti-depressants and the mentally ill.

For the rest, teevee will still put you into a receptive state within minutes and there is nothing you can do to stop it...

i saw one of jared's girlfriend's say this morning on the teevee that she thinks he is faking the whole thing -- madness and all.

i have not read his ravings. the fact that he has a smirk plastered on his face 24x7 tells me that he feels immensely satisfied with his "work."

i don't take him to be crazy any more than any other person acting completely rationally and in the grips of evil.

his actions, i'm sure, make perfect sense to him and many others like him.

if he blabs on annoyingly about mind control, does he not discredit all the people who talk rationally about mind control? if he has a fake satanic shrine with oranges and a fake skull in the backyard, does he not discredit people who have been trying to point out the reality of satanic ritual abuse? etc.

i don't think the army dropped him at all.

legal mumbo jumbo
